Just being cute

Henry set himself up for this picture and told me to take it...ha ha...we have him trained already to be a cheeser!

Henry really LOVED his first Halloween. He thought it was his birthday because we made such a big deal out of it. It was his last "first" holiday and it was a little bit of a celebration for us because last year on this very weekend we were just arriving in Russia to bring Henry home from Russia. On Nov 1st last year it was our first visit with Henry in the orpahange before our court date.
The Halloween festivities today began with a costume contest downtown. There were over 20 kids in Henry's age group, but Henry won the judges over when he hopped across the stage. He got 3rd place with his frog costume. Then we went trick or treating at the stores downtown. We came home and have a little party with family for about an hour to celebrate and see Henry's costume. We went for ice cream with grandma Marcia and grandpa Tom and then went trick or treating with grandma Wendy. Henry went to each house and said trick or treat, then said thank you for the treats and proceeded to say happy halloween and give a hop and ribbit. Everyone thought it was so cute.
