Smelling the beautiful flowers all of the rain has brought!

This last week has been nice and these first couple days of May have brought on a lot of excitement! Henry got to help dad put up the Norwegian flag for the May celebration of Syttende Mai...It is a big this where we live since it is a well known Norwegian settlement.
The sun has been shining and the temps have been warming up. To celebrate we took a day trip up north and Henry had fun by the lake, dipping his hands in the water, watching for fish, blowing bubbles, shopping for flowers and playing with the dogs.
Henry is just having a blast exploring everyday and he really had a fun being outside a lot this week. He loves smelling the flowers, playing with his dogs, helping dad in the yard and he loves finding all of the new things he can do now that the weather is warm. This weekend we got out his trike and he had fun pushing it around the yard and saying "get on the bike" and "get off the bike". He fell off a couple times, but just got back up and tried again. He is putting more and more words together. He loves talking about colors and this week his favorite color was red. He was very excited that his bike is red!
